Meet the Team

Chuck has been a licensed Virginia dealer since 1987 — going on four decades of putting his own name behind everything he sells. It started right out of high school, when he and his parents opened New London Trailers.

Back then the business was tractors and farm equipment, and trailers were the sideline. By the early '90s the sideline had taken over. Chuck set a goal of selling one a day. Before long it was three and four a day, and by the time he sold the business in 2007, 150 trailers a month.

Hot rods were the hobby. After the sale, the hobby went full time out of his own house. In 2010 he and his wife Debbie bought the property here in Evington, built the building, and opened the doors in February 2011 — hot rods full time, plus a few late-model vehicles they liked enough to keep around. It has grown every year since. His son Tanner came on February 1, 2021.

Volume was never the point, and neither were everyday, boring cars. Chuck buys the fun stuff: Chevy and Toyota pickups, a few Fords, and whatever else makes him look twice. Every vehicle here is handpicked, and it has to get past him before it ever goes up for sale.

Tanner has been into anything with a motor and wheels for as long as he can remember — all through childhood, all through his teenage years. He graduated high school in 2018 and went to work selling auto parts at O'Reilly. He liked it, but he wanted a career out of it, so while he was still on the parts counter he put himself through technical school for his HVAC certification.

He spent the next three years in heating and air, installing residential heat pumps, and decided it was not what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. He wanted work that felt more rewarding, and he wanted it back in the auto world. His father offered him a job at the dealership in 2021, and he has been here ever since.

This is more than a job or a career to him. He is a car and truck guy, and what he gets the most out of is solving the problem in front of him — putting somebody, or their friend, or someone they love, in the right vehicle.

His favorite things to keep in stock are Teslas, Toyota pickups, commercial vans and Chevrolet pickups. His favorite part of the job is working alongside his dad every day: they see eye to eye on just about everything and work well together, which is not something most people can say. Chuck taught him everything he knows about this business.

Away from the lot he is camping, riding the trails on the RZRs, spending time with family, or reading up on financial literature — he is very big on understanding how money works and investing in your future. His girlfriend of two years shares his taste in quality vehicles and backs him in everything he does.
