Buying a used EV is different from buying a gas car. Here's what to look at. Ask us and we'll go through any of it with you on the lot.
- 1Charge to 100% (or check the estimated range at full) and compare it with the car's original rated range.
- 2Check Controls → Software to see the software version and whether Full Self-Driving is purchased or a subscription.
- 3Make sure you get two key cards, and pair your phone as a key during the test drive.
- 4Ask whether the Mobile Connector charging cable comes with the car.
- 5Look at tire wear. These cars have instant torque, and Performance models especially wear tires faster.
